Project Overview

In the year 2017, Aawaaz joined forces with the Simple Education Foundation, a dedicated non-profit committed to advancing quality education in government schools. This collaboration aimed to foster the comprehensive development of students in MCD (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) Schools, enhancing both their academic and personal growth. By working together, Aawaaz and Simple Education Foundation created a nurturing environment that supported the holistic advancement of young learners, providing them with essential resources and opportunities for their success.

Collaboration to Foster Holistic Development of Students in MCD Schools.

Design

In this endeavor, we undertook the Model School Project, implementing it in two distinct phases over a two-year period. Over 20 committed facilitators came together to design curricula aimed at teaching vital skills in dance, arts and crafts, public speaking, and other aspects of a holistic education beyond traditional textbooks. Our objective was to support the overall development of students, achieving a seamless integration of creative talents and academic learning.

Impact

The project wrapped up with a memorable showcase, where students artfully designed and presented their activities before parents, educators, and distinguished guests. This final event provided a platform for students to reveal their hard work and creativity, offering a valuable glimpse into their growth and the skills they had developed. The showcase not only highlighted the students' achievements but also fostered a deep sense of pride and satisfaction among everyone involved.
