Aawaaz is a movement dedicated to empowering young minds by addressing the gaps in traditional education models. We equip students with essential 21st-century skills through skill development, curriculum design, teacher training, and educational research. Our mission is to inspire creative thinking, build confidence, and provide opportunities for students to explore their potential. Whether it's through mastering debate, public speaking, creative writing, or theatre, we aim to foster holistic growth in future leaders. By extending learning beyond the classroom, we seek to cultivate the leaders of tomorrow who will drive positive change in their communities and beyond.
We envision to transform education into a more inclusive, holistic, and empowering experience for all students, particularly those from less privileged backgrounds. We aim to bridge the gap in educational opportunities by expanding access to skill training, mentorship, and innovative curriculam. Through our three key wings — Education, Research, and Foundation, we work tirelessly to ensure that every student, regardless of their background, has the tools and resources to succeed. We envision a future where young people are equipped not only with knowledge but with the confidence and creativity to shape their own futures and impact the world around them.

Working with Aawaaz throughout the pandemic has been fulfilling and enriching. It has also been a lot about unlearning a lot of things I had previously known about classrooms, online classrooms and everyone in them- they’ve been brighter and warmer than I could ever imagine them to be! I’ve learned three lessons in my time here with Aawaaz. The first is that to be a good teacher, one always has to be open to learning. I learn from my environment, my fellow facilitators, my students, and my mistakes. Growing here, and involving myself in more projects has taught me my second lesson- to never underestimate our capacity to create change in places that we deem change to be necessary. But lastly and most importantly, working with my kids taught me that in a world that seems dreary, dark and dreadful, there is, in all actuality so, so much to work for, to hope for, and to fight for.
